Presenting the proud owner of Studio 49! With an impressive 40+ years in the industry, Jennifer honed her skills at Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, CA. Specializing in cuts, color, and Brazilian Blowouts, she's your go-to expert for a complete hair and beauty transformation. Having previously owned a salon in Arizona for 15 years, she set her sights on Gulfport, FL, and brought Studio 49 to life in 2019. She's also an influential member of the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce. A true powerhouse in the hair and business realm!
Michael
Stylist/Colorist extraordinaire for 35+ years! A Gulfport local for an impressive 26+ years, hailing from the windy city of Chicago. Michael is a true magician with clippers and razors, transforming hair into works of art! Curly/wavy hair? His favorite! And when not creating fabulous hairstyles, he's an arts and crafts virtuoso, and the one and only Queen... although surrounded by a bunch of women ;)

Jules has been in the hair business for over 30+ years. She prides herself as a color master and has been trained through Vidal Sassoon. Jules has been on 8th Ave in Pass-a-Grille for many years – Now she has. found her home here in Gulfport Florida and at Studio 49.
Julie
Julie Kaplan is an internationally trained Acupuncture Physician and bodywork therapist, practicing since 1991. She graduated in Oriental Medicine from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida, and the Institute for Shiatsu and Oriental Medicine in Germany. Julie specializes in balancing the body, mind, and spirit and is recognized as an inspired and gifted healer. Patients often seek her not only for physical discomfort but also for support during life changes and challenges. By working with the energetic body, she facilitates deep relaxation and healing on all levels. “I look forward to helping you achieve optimal health.” - Dr Julie
Connie
Connie is a licensed massage therapist with 35 years of experience in bodywork. She has studied the techniques of renowned practitioners such as Dr. Upledger, Dr. Bruno Chikly, and Dr. Barral, among others. From 2006 to 2016, she served as an instructor at the LA Academy Spa. Connie is passionate about using her skills and teachings to support others in their healing journeys. As a highly attuned practitioner, she excels at adapting her massage techniques to meet the specific needs of each individual. To best serve her clients, Connie remains current with the latest techniques and continually evolves her practice.
